2008 Carnation Time Trial Series

The Series is being held out of the city of Carnation, WA and will consist of 3 separate races. The races will begin with a "short" course early in the season, continue with a hill race mid season, and finish with a long course in July.

This event is designed to be a primary race series as well as training tool for those preparing for the State Time Trial Championship, Ironman Coeur d’Alene, Ironman Canada, and the multitude of other triathlons occurring this season.

Race Dates:
April 6th (Sunday) - flat race approximately 20k (12.5 miles) - map

June 7th (Saturday) - hill race approximately 23k (14.5 miles) - map

July 13th (Sunday) - flat race approximately 46k (28.5 miles) - map1 map2

Start Time: 8:00 am

Registration & Cost: - $30 per race, sign up for all 3 and get $10 off

Park your vehicle in the Tolt Middle school parking lot. Secondary parking located across SR-203 at the baseball fields. Do not park on the streets.

Purse: $1200 for each overall mens & womens top three series placers

1st place - $700 for each male and female winner
2nd place - $300
3rd place - $200

Prizes for each race will be broken down into age groups: Juniors, 21-39, Masters. Change from last year - If enough Masters racers enter the group will be broken into 40-49 and 50+. This will most likely happen for the men's field given the participation last year. Confirmation for both men's and women's field will occur within the week prior to the first race.

Race #3: 15, 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

Raffle!!!! FSA - RD 488 Wheelset, nuun for a year. You get one ticket for each race you enter. Raffle will be held following the last race on July 13th.
